Kyrie Kleinfelter D.C.

Before she became a NUCCA chiropractor in St. Charles, Illinois, Dr. Kyrie was a teacher when she fell seriously ill with “Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” in her early twenties. She was unable to work or even participate in the everyday activities of life.

Suffering from constant bodily pain and weakness, memory loss, inability to concentrate, and severe lack of energy she sought care from several medical doctors. She was told she might always be like that. It wasn’t until she started NUCCA care that she got her life back. It was then that Dr. Kleinfelter decided to dedicate her life to helping others with NUCCA Chiropractic.

Dr. Kyrie Kleinfelter graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. She founded 1st Place Chiropractic in 2002 helping thousands of people over the years and training many new NUCCA chiropractors.

Dr. Kleinfelter and her husband Marc homeschool their five children and love to travel the world with them. Checking and correcting spinal misalignments since birth is the foundation for the fantastic health these Kleinfelter kids enjoy. Dr. Kleinfelter is a true missionary for NUCCA Chiropractic and is almost always teaching or recruiting students to NUCCA when she travels. Her goal is to let the world know about NUCCA. She says, “Everyone should at least know about it and have their Atlas checked.”

Justin Coop D.C.

Dr. Justin Coop became a doctor to help people with the most precious gift a person can have – a state of good health. After a childhood of witnessing his mother living in constant pain, she finally got life changing relief from chiropractic care.

It was observing people getting well from so many different problems and the joy the patients and staff had in the chiropractic office he observed that made Justin change from studying Pre-Med in college to pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree instead.

Dr. Coop graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO in 2003. He brings much experience with him to 1st Place Chiropractic. Dr. Coop has advanced training and certifications in multiple chiropractic techniques, muscle therapies, and even Functional Medicine – a natural approach to addressing the root causes of chronic conditions. Dr. Coop has had a very successful chiropractic career, helping thousands of people. He’s been the Clinic Director of a very busy clinic; he’s owned his own Functional Medicine practice. With all he’s learned, Dr. Coop comes to the conclusion that precisely correcting the Atlas Subluxation is the necessary foundation to good health. This is why after 19 years, he’s practicing NUCCA with us at 1st Place Chiropractic. “I’m excited to join 1st Place Chiropractic because they are known for their excellent care and precise adjustments. Without fully correcting the Atlas subluxation, adjustments cannot stay in place. The body is only healing while it remains in its proper alignment.”

Dr. Coop and his wife, Dorothy, have three children who are active in school activities, club soccer, and club volleyball. In his spare time Dr. Coop loves to watch his kids playing their sports, cooking, and having fun creating new healthy meals for his family. Growing up on a farm as a child and spending a great deal of time outside-he loves being outdoors and simply being out in nature.

Steven Superczynski D.C.

Dr. Steven Superczynski’s journey into chiropractic care began as a personal search for healing. While still in school, he sought chiropractic care for shoulder pain caused by weightlifting.

Not only did his pain resolve, but he also experienced deeper, lasting improvements in his overall well-being. This transformative experience sparked his passion for chiropractic and set him on a path to help others heal naturally.

After graduating from chiropractic college in 2000, Dr. Steve spent years practicing in a traditional chiropractic model, focusing on symptom relief. However, over time, he realized that true lasting healing comes from restoring proper nervous system function. A pivotal moment came during a mission trip to Brazil, where he witnessed an elderly woman walk away without her cane after a single adjustment—an experience that changed the course of his career.

Determined to provide the most effective, lasting care, Dr. Steve discovered NUCCA, a highly specialized chiropractic method that corrects spinal misalignments with precision. Inspired by the profound impact of this approach, he made the decision to close his practice of 20+ years in Naperville IL to join our team of NUCCA specialists in St. Charles IL. Now, as part of 1st Place Chiropractic, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting health and wellness through excellent NUCCA care.

Dr. Steve has been married to his wife, Jennifer, since 2002 and they are proud parents of five wonderful children. His family has received chiropractic care since birth, and he actively volunteers with their Cub Scouts and Scouting America troops. He is passionate about educating others on the power of NUCCA and believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of proper spinal alignment and optimal nerve function.

Quinn Krenek D.C.

Discovering Natural Relief Through Chiropractic

Having severe asthma as a child, I was always in and out of hospitals, on medications and stimulants that would cause severe side effects. I was constantly missing school and was not able to participate in neighborhood get-togethers or sports activities.

After seeing and being adjusted by a Doctor of Chiropractic, I no longer needed to be on medications. My quality of life improved drastically. If my mother hadn’t taken me to a chiropractor, I would probably still be on medication and suffering with a low quality of life.

I wanted to help others naturally just like my ﬁrst chiropractor helped me. Seeing how chiropractic care changed my life is what motivated me to lead and educate others on the value of having an optimal nervous system.

Outside The Office, I enjoy family time!
My wife, Kate, and I love spending time with our three children, Isaiah, Aidan, and Lily. Our family enjoys various outdoor activities in the Northwoods such as boating, ﬁshing, and hiking. If I had the same debilitating allergies I had as a child, this would not have been a possibility for my family and I. We also enjoy seeing the amazing productions at the Paramount Theater and going to Hollywood Palms and Two Brothers Roundhouse.

Mojdeh McPhillips

Mojdeh McPhillips earned her Health and Wellness Life Coach certification from Light University AACC. Coming from a family with cancer and auto autoimmune diseases, Mojdeh continually strives for healthier lifestyle.

She has spent the last 8 years working as an Optician and Optical office manager. Mojdeh was referred to 1st Place Chiropractic in mid-2021 when she started receiving treatment from Dr. Klenfelter.

Mojdeh graduated from Pocatello High school in 1983 and moved from Idaho to Illinois in 1989. Mojdeh has two wonderful grown children; a daughter Yasaman and son Sean. Mojdeh enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends and is passionate about planting and working in the garden.

Jacob Kleinfelter

Chiropractic has been part of Jacob’s life from day one—literally. As the son of Dr. Kleinfelter, the clinic director at 1st Place Chiropractic, he’s been under NUCCA care since birth and has experienced firsthand how consistent chiropractic care supports optimal health. Rarely sick and always active, he credits NUCCA with helping him feel and function at his best.

Homeschooled through high school, Jacob will begin his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in November, continuing a proud family legacy as a fourth-generation Palmer graduate.

Before joining the team at 1st Place Chiropractic, Jacob spent seven months working at Walt Disney World in Florida as part of the prestigious Disney College Program. While working for one of the most well-known and service-driven companies in the world, he gained invaluable experience in customer service, communication, and attention to detail. That time deeply shaped his approach to creating memorable, welcoming experiences—and he now enjoys bringing a touch of that Disney magic to the practice every day.

Jacob is passionate about learning more about chiropractic before beginning school and is eager to share its life-changing benefits with others. In his free time, he enjoys visiting theme parks and cooking as creative ways to relax and recharge.

Allison

With over a decade of experience in administrative support and customer service, Allison is passionate about creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate environment for every patient who walks through our doors. She takes pride in helping each person feel heard, supported, and cared for from their very first interaction with our office.

Allison's journey with NUCCA chiropractic care has been life-changing! Before discovering NUCCA, lingering migraines often limited her ability to fully engage in the moments that matter most. Through consistent care, she has experienced incredible improvements that have allowed her to return to the activities she loves.

Today, Allison is able to be fully present with her daughter, Taliah, and her twins, Arely and Roman — spending intentional time playing, being active, and letting her imagination run wild alongside them. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and exploring new restaurants with her family and friends.

Olivia

Olivia finds fulfillment while working at 1st Place Chiropractic because she is able to connect with and support patients on their healing journeys, being able to help get them the care that they need. Her experience with NUCCA care has also personally improved her shoulder and back pain, and greatly enhanced her overall quality of life, deepening her passion for the work she does.

Shay

Before joining 1st Place Chiropractic in January of 2026, Shay built a diverse professional background spanning over 36 years. She spent 24 years as a department manager at a privately owned postal service, followed by 6 years managing a residential rental office. Most recently, she served as a Senior Manager at a Neuro-Optometric practice for 6 years.

Although she initially knew very little about NUCCA, her perspective quickly changed after researching the impact of care and hearing patient testimonies. After experiencing her first adjustment, she couldn’t believe how much better she felt and how significantly her symptoms improved. That experience solidified her passion for NUCCA and her commitment to supporting patients on their own health journeys.

Today, she is proud to be part of a team that is focused on delivering hope and help through precise, life-changing care.

Outside of the office, Shay enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also her best friend, and their two sons, Rio and Vader.

Terri

Terri has been part of the 1st Place Chiropractic family since she became a patient in 2003, first discovering NUCCA care after a friend’s recommendation. At the time, she was experiencing low energy, hip pain, arm numbness, and frequent headaches. Through gentle NUCCA adjustments, she experienced significant improvements in her health and well-being—wishing only that she had started care sooner.

Today, she enjoys increased energy, clearer thinking, and rarely experiences headaches. Her husband has also benefited from care, with improvements in his neck pain, mobility, and overall health.

Inspired by her personal experience, Terri developed a deep appreciation for NUCCA chiropractic and its focus on restoring proper spinal alignment to support the body’s natural function. She was excited for the opportunity to join the team at 1st Place Chiropractic, where she enjoys seeing patients find hope and healing.

Outside of the office, she is passionate about sharing the benefits of NUCCA care with others and encouraging those facing health challenges to explore its potential.
