Dr. Kyrie Kleinfelter graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2001. Her undergraduate degree is from North Central College in Naperville, IL. Kyrie studied with other NUCCA doctors before opening 1st Place Chiropractic in early 2002. Kyrie was married to her husband Marc in1995. They have two sons, Jacob born in 2004 and Max born in 2006.
Kyrie was a teacher when she fell seriously ill with “Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” in her early twenties. She was unable to work or even participate in the everyday activities of life. Suffering from constant bodily pain and weakness, memory loss, inability to concentrate, and severe lack of energy she sought care from several medical doctors. She was told she might always be like that. It wasn’t until she started NUCCA care that she got her life back. It was then that Dr. Kleinfelter decided to dedicate her life to helping others with NUCCA Chiropractic.
Dr. Kleinfelter is the sixth chiropractor in three generations in her family. Kyrie’s grandmother became a chiropractor after the birth of her first child (Kyrie’s father). He had seizures that were medically untreatable and it was predicted hat he would die. She took him to a chiropractor who adjusted his spine and he never had a seizure again. In addition to Kyrie’s grandmother, her great aunt, great uncle, cousin, and uncle became chiropractors as well.
